Originating from Valencia (Spain), DJ Kanzer started is career in music as a DJ/Turntablist. He has performed with dope artists such as DJ Craze, Scratch Perverts, Xzibit, Beat Nuts, Tony Touch, Common, Das Efx, Paris Smith (epmd), Termanology, Big Shug, Jeru the Damaja, DJ Lord (Public Enemy), 113 (fr), IAM (fr).
But his passion for hip hop also shines in his beatmaking skills. As a producer, he's been working with Eric Sermon, RJ Payne, Ghost Of The Machine, NapsNdreds, Jamil Honesty, Robbie Khan and 2nd Generation Wu to name a few, and with more collaborations to come no doubt.
His beats have a true hip hop vibe, funky, with fat basslines, gritty and heavy sounds as well that reminds me of the Wu Tang and the Def Squad productions. I had a chance to talk with him a few times, and he has a great personality, humble and friendly but with great talent.
